We Need your Feedback!
2007-03-26
We are working hard every year to make the CS Games better and better but we want YOU to tell us how. This year we got rid of the pen and paper and have moved to an electronic poll format. Please take a few minutes to fill our poll and help us improve the event.
The CS Games 2007 Are Over
2007-03-21
The CS Games 2007 closed down on March 11th after three days of intense competition and partying. Overall, the event was a huge success with 325 participants from 27 Universities! We would like to congratulate our winners: Team Ham Sandwich from the University of Rochester. They performed very well in all events allowing them to take the CS Cup home almost 10 points ahead of University of Montreal and Dalhousie and Saint Mary's University. Check out the results page.
We would like to thank all our sponsors as well as all those who dedicated their time and energies to organizing the CS Games 2007!
Sherbrooke 2008 and Beyond

We are proud to announce that the CS Games 2008 will be held at Sherbrooke University in March 2008! The 2008 organizing committee has already been at work on the next edition of the CS Games for a year now: they are ready to welcome you all again! Stay tuned for more information...
The CS Games permanent council is already accepting candidate hosts for the 2009 edition of the games. If you are interested or have any questions about the organization of the event, please email us at csgames-council@lists.csgames.org.

Regarding Competition Questions, Answers and Submissions
2007-03-21
Every year we get many requests for the various competition questions, their answers, and the submissions the participants worked so hard to deliver. Unfortunately it is the CS Games policy NOT to release any of those. We wish to keep a fair level of competition for all participants in future years and want to avoid having some teams much more prepared and trained than others. Moreover, as this event is entirely student run, we wish to avoid an escalation of the difficulty level throughout the years: someone has to come up with all those competitions!

And the winner is ...! Again?
You saw the raffle ticket script in action, now you can see its secrets too! Read the php source code and give us your suggestions to improve it! Already on the agenda is to use the mt_rand() function instead of rand() and to explicitly seed it. Send us your ideas, comments, criticism to csgames-council@lists.csgames.org.
