Getting Involved

The Computer Science Games is an academic collegial competition receiving more than 300 students from computer science and engineering. For a whole weekend, dedicated students from about 30 universities from across North America will prove their computing skills in conception, design and programming. Whether individually or in team, they will meet great challenges at the CS Games: Artificial Intelligence, Web Design, Logical Problems and Unix Scripting. During the CS Games official closing ceremony, the winning team will be publicly announced and will have their effort well applauded.

The CS Games' mission is to reunite students from different universities, bringing diversified experiences and specializations to challenge their own knowledge and skills in innovating IT fields. While we believe it is important to create a stimulating academic context, the CS Games are first and foremost an entertaining and motivating experience. Their main goal is to strengthen the bonds between every actor in the computing community, including the industry.

In this matter, the industry has a unique possibility to take part into this ambitious project! Not only this event offers the opportunity to advertise a company by displaying its products and services, it also improve its visibility to today's best of the best computing science students and tomorrow's professional workforce. In the last years, the CS Games gained a strong reputation and a new prestige, and are renowned to have created a big and devoted community. The event has now taken its place amongst the popular academic competitions, and is now covered by the Medias. In fact, it has been showcased in TV shows such as M. Net at MusiquePlus and La revanche des nerds at Ztélé.

There are various ways for the industry to support the CS Games: Financial and technical support, or even by taking part into the organization of an event! Please contact us at sponsors@csgames.org for further details.
